I.C. stands for Intensive Care and this is a pup that walked into her name! I.C. was an singleton pup and had to be hand raised from birth. This involved tube-feeding, fluid drips, bottle feeding, weighing, cleaning her...generally every one to two hours for the first four weeks she was alive. It was touch and go for I.C., but she is one tough cookie and I am thrilled she made it!
Life for a singleton pup can be challenging...interaction with other pups generally is missing...so I.C. improvised!
Life gets better when friends come to play. I.C. is at the bottom of the pecking order here...but not for long!
I.C. has already debuted in the ASCA show ring taking Best of Breed Puppy under breeder judge Linda Buell! I.C. is nominated and will participate in the 2006 Roger McKay Memorial Breeder Futurity in St. Louis, MO (April 2006). I.C.'s AKC debut will be at the USASA Regional Specialty held in conjunction with the Gold Country shows over Labor Day weekend.
